EasyReach Appoints Consumer Electronics Expert
To Board of Directors

Campbell, California  Oct. 17, 2006 - EasyReach Corporation, a leading mobile services provider, today announced the appointment of Barry Lipsky, president and CEO of Franklin Electronic Publishers, Inc., (FEP: AMEX) to the EasyReach board of directors.

“As EasyReach continues to capture the growing market for mobile services, Barry’s consumer electronics expertise will be a valuable asset in building our market presence,” said John Stossel, EasyReach CEO and chairman of the board. “With the addition of an industry veteran with Barry’s extensive experience, EasyReach will be able to take advantage of a broader range of market opportunities.”

Lipsky joined Franklin Electronic Publishers as vice president in February 1985 and was elected executive vice president in 1997. He was named president and CEO in May 1999. Prior to joining Franklin Electronic Publishers, Lipsky held a variety of senior management positions at Mura Corporation, a designer and importer of consumer electronic products and custom components.

Established in 2005, the EasyReach board of directors includes industry veterans Stossel, and Joel Kanter. Stossel’s mobile expertise includes senior executive level positions at Intellisync (acquired by Nokia), as founder of both Dry Creek Software and Real World Solutions (acquired by Puma Technology). Kanter has a 20-year background with public and private companies including Windy City, Inc., Encore Medical Corporation, I-Flow Corporation, Magna-Labs, Inc., Prospect Medical, and LOGIC Devices, Inc.
