“Remote Access.” How many times have you heard that term and said to yourself “I need that! How do I get it? Is it easy to use?” You remember that meeting last week when you needed a really important document - information for a potential client your boss has been waiting for you to close – but it was on your PC, back at the office? That was embarrassing – and a short meeting! You had to add another item to your already crowded to-do list and deal with it later. But that won’t ever happen again, because you started using EasyReach™ service today.
EasyReach service allows you to remotely send a fax or send an e-mail to deliver a PC file residing on your desktop- or a PC file you've saved to EasyReach online storage - using just your mobile phone from anywhere, anytime.
Having instantaneous, remote access to all the important information you need is vital in today's competitive environment. With EasyReach service, you use your cell phone to securely search your remote desktop to find relevant e-mails, attachments, address records, calendar items and over 350 file types stored on your remote PC. You find the important information you need simply by using keywords or phrases. There's no need to remember where the information is stored; only a word in the document on your remote PC. Once found, you can then deliver that information via e-mail or fax to anyone, anywhere – all from your mobile phone!
Don't want to leave your desktop PC on all the time? No problem. EasyReach offers a large amount of secure online storage as well, for remote access using mobile file downloads to your cell phone, or to any PC web browser anywhere you need to get to those files, safely and securely.
EasyReach Find & Deliver features are integrated into many smartphones’ Contact List/Address Book and mobile e-mail Inbox. You click on a contact record and retrieve any information from your remote PC related to that contact. You can also simply click on an email in your smartphone and retrieve information related to the name in the ““from”” or ““to”” fields.
When the relevant information you are looking for is found, you can e-mail or fax the document immediately. When you select the “Fax It” option, you can either select to use your own eFax Premium account or use the EasyReach Service eFax service. If you do not select eFax Premium Account, then before faxing the document a dialog box will let you know that a $1.99 per page charge will be billed to your credit card . After faxing you will see a display dialog box confirming successful fax transmission or failure.
Sometimes you will want to confirm that a document you need to send to someone is the correct one, e.g. a PDF with the latest product information from your company. In this case, you simply e-mail the document to your own mobile phone, review it, and then it's the correct one, select either “e-mail document” or “fax document'” from the EasyReach menu. You will then see a list of your stored contacts where you can either select an recipient or enter new contact information to complete the process.
